Capture a screenshot

Take a screenshot#

Choose the screenshot tool and select a window or area. Saryu captures the source at its available resolution and opens the screenshot editor.

Hide private content before capture. The screenshot contains the pixels that were visible in the chosen source.

Style the image#

Choose a background, spacing, corner radius, and shadow. Use annotations when you need to point at a detail.

Keep the source readable at the final size. Large padding can make small text hard to see.

Save or copy#

Export as PNG or JPEG. WebP appears only when the current macOS image encoder supports it.

You can also copy the finished image and paste it into another app.
