Getting started
Install Saryu
Download Saryu and complete the first launch on your Mac.
Before you start
Saryu is a native Mac app. Use a current macOS release and make sure your Mac can install apps from outside the App Store.
You need an internet connection to download Saryu and sign in. Recording and local editing continue on your Mac.
Install the app
- Download Saryu from the Saryu website.
- Open the downloaded disk image.
- Drag Saryu into the Applications folder.
- Eject the disk image when the copy finishes.
Keep Saryu in Applications. Moving the app later can make macOS ask for capture permissions again.
Open Saryu
Open Applications and double-click Saryu. You can also press Command–Space and search for Saryu.
macOS may ask you to confirm that you downloaded the app from the internet. Choose Open to continue.
